Welcome to ENNC
The Elmhurst Neighbors and Newcomers Club is a social club for Elmhurst-area women who are interested in building friendships, connecting to their community, pursuing special interests, and for those who are simply looking to have some fun.
Our club helps women and their families meet new people, connect with others who have similar interests, and generally become more familiar with the Elmhurst community.
Our logo is comprised of four interconnecting circles. These circles symbolize both the connections we make with one another and the four areas of focus for ENNC: Ladies’ Events, Couples’ Events, Family Events and Community Service.
With Social Events for ladies, couples, and their families, as well as the many and varied Interest Groups, the Elmhurst Neighbors and Newcomers Club really has something for everyone! Our club is made up of all kinds of members with varying levels of participation. It’s up to you!
Social Events throughout the year include:
- Ladies’ Wine Tasting
- Couples’ Pub Crawl
- Family Fall Hayride
- Couples’ Halloween Party
- Family Breakfast with Santa
- Couples’ Ugly Sweater Party
- Ladies’ Oscar Party
- Couples’ Derby Party
- Ladies’ Boutique Crawl
- Mothers’ Tea
- Family Summer Picnic
While many of our members have lived in Elmhurst for years, newcomers are joining us all the time!
The April Book Club Selection is Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.
Set over the course of one school year in 1986, ELEANOR AND PARK is the story of two star-crossed misfits – smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try. When Eleanor meets Park, you’ll remember your own first love – and just how hard it pulled you under.
Join us for Spring Speed. This “social” speed work will challenge you as a runner but will be doable enough so you can have a conversation with a friend while you run. The program is designed for runners who are currently able to run 3 miles comfortably. All paces are welcome.
